Thank you for visiting. A Thing for Another is a grassroots movement dedicated to unifying orphans around Kampala, Uganda with a wider network for their support. It's a community of people who want to see a small effort on their part go a long way in the life of another.
We have 3 causes: helping children out of the slum, supporting them with sustainability projects, and supporting the education of the children.

“BIG” GODFREY
Godfrey’s story:
Godfrey lost both of his parents at a young age. He was sent to live with his grandmother who loved him at first, but then she started mistreating him. Sometimes his grandmother would beat him, and would not provide any food. Godfrey’s grandmother expected him to bring water for them. The water was a great distance away from where they lived, so he spent most of his time carrying water. Click to hear more about Godfrey |
